Who we Fund
Sackhumvit Trust co-organizes and finances projects that support our Trust Objectives. Interested applicants should submit a grant application form available on our website.
Trust Objectives
- To finance non-profit organizations that directly address health, education, and other socioeconomic concerns of marginalized or underserved communities in India through systemic and sustainable community change.
- To assist other voluntary bodies and agencies in the field by sponsoring academic research, consultancy services, feasibility studies, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.
- To publish reports, journals, pamphlets, books and release audio, visual cassettes etc., without any profit motive, for the promotion of Sackhumvit Trust's mission.
- To create a social network where by non-profit organizations working toward economic development and social justice can learn about one another's work and collaborate on projects.
Eligible applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
- Registered, non-profit organization based in India.
- Represent traditionally marginalized or underserved communities and are able to draw linkages between different but related forms of socioeconomic issues.
- Are membership-driven and are committed to building the leadership capacity of its members.
- Are democratically structured and accountable to their communities.
