At Sackhumvit we promised the Alumni that we will be their guiding force. Our outreach effort aims at set up the right platforms, understanding what they want, meeting personally and be accessible to them. In the month of may students were taught social skills . For example how to meet and greet people and introduce themselves. Many students were lacking this skill. Here is what our Alumni President Sai Kumar articulated and got a big round of applause. Well d one Sai, you have set the benchmark for others to follow! “Hello, my name is Sai and I am 19 years old. I am originally from Andhra Pradesh but I currently live in Bengaluru with my parents and my younger sister. I completed schooling here as well. Presently I’m studying BCA at Bengaluru institute of technology and I do enjoy most aspects of it. But in the second year there is a lot of hard work and a lot of reading and recall and that is a challenge. What I really enjoy is exploring exciting trends in technology. I want to have a career in this field but I am yet to decide my area of specialization. I’m particularly strong in Excel worksheets and creating well- designed banners and documents. If anyone requires support in these areas, I’ll be glad to help. I also like to exchange ideas with people and enjoy outdoor sports during weekends. Thanks for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself”.
