Fun with a microscope for Class 9

High school students sometimes view curriculum as something learned passively from a book or their teacher. At Sackhumvit visual interaction is a key tool towards effective learning .In the month of January we exposed young students to the wonder of tiny structures the naked eye can’t see to expands their appreciation of the amazing
complexity of the natural world. Students had an opportunity to hands-on experience the nuances of the compound microscope. From a blade of grass to the skin of an onion or the eyes of a fly, viewing everyday objects and creatures through a microscope lens presents a wider view of the world. This encourages questioning and investigation, which are essential to scientific discovery. Lots of excitement and enthusiasm for this  visual aid class where the students made their own slides to view and examine.
