How your mobile phone is damaging your chance to progress (James Clear)

Smartphone addiction has negative impacts on student learning and overall academic performance. The greater the use of a phone while studying, the greater the negative impact on learning. Sleeplessness, Fear of missing out (FOMO), procrastination and stress are other harmful impacts of excess phone use, a habit hard to break. However the biggest impact is reduced concentration. Research clearly shows it takes a good 25 minutes to build back focus and concentration. Multitasking is a myth so dear students while it's ok to stay in touch using phones but to keep checking others' agenda instead of your own can lead to time waste and nonproductivity. Solution: Try keeping the phone far away. Take small steps to not keep checking the phone and increase the time away from it. It will make a huge difference. Discussion to the effect was conducted in all classes.
