Apply the 5/25 Rule! Prioritize!!
Warren Buffett's 5/25 rule is an exercise used to help you focus on your most valued aims, that which seems most meaningful to you! The 5/25 rule is precisely how you prioritize like Warren Buffett, focusing solely on committing fully to a minimal number of goals, rather than juggling many
goals at once! It’s simple, actually. The 5/25 rule works because of the simple fact that you can’t focus on lots of things at once. Multi-tasking is a myth Just as you can’t hold down 25 jobs or even study 12 school subjects all at once, you can’t work towards 25 goals at once. So here is how to do it.
1. Write down a list of your top 25 career goals. These can be short-term (getting a qualification or promotion) or long-term (starting your own business).
2. Decide on the five most important goals of these 25 by circling the top 5 items. Take your carefully crafted list of 25 and eliminate 80% of it.
Say NO to goals, YES to production systems. And finally, go to bed a little smarter each day
